Equity, Access, and Opportunity - RivCoDCSS Scope
The EAO Committee aims to align with the County of Riverside’s ‘Equity Advancement and Strategic Planning Framework,’ RivCoDCSS’ mission, vision, and intends to propose and execute a process that promotes equity, access, and opportunity, not only in a sense of awareness, but in a manner that is integral to upholding the RivCoDCSS brand. These measures are to be reflected in the training, education, and overall experience of its employees to which this committee serves.
Scope:
The below will guide the EAO Committee in its execution:
Create and assess the implementation of the EAO Strategic Plan, as it aligns with RivCoDCSS Equity Access Opportunity Workgroup’s initiatives.
Monitor the progress of implementation and re-assess, as needed.
Inform and consult with staff and administration regarding EAO initiatives/projects/events.
Ensure the maintenance and effecting of best practices regarding development and training.
Serve as a resource guide to employees for all issues related to equity, access, and opportunity.
Seek regular feedback on opportunities or areas of improvement, including polls, surveys, and questions & answers.
Develop special events, communications, and materials to further awareness of EAO actions and initiatives.
